Our Favourite Quiet Walks in North Bristol – For You and Your Pooch

Alreet me lovers! Fancy a gurt lush mooch with your pup where you won’t be bumpin’ into every man and his dog?

We've sniffed out some belters round North Bristol for peaceful wanders and waggy tails...

Three Brooks Nature Reserve – Green and Proper Peaceful

Right in the heart of Bradley Stoke, this one’s a banger.

You’ve got fields, woods, little bridges, and even a pond or two.

It’s the kinda place where your dog can go full zoomies without causing a scene. Most times it's quiet enough you could do the conga and no one would notice.

Top tip: Bring yer wellies if it’s been raining, unless you fancy doin’ a bit of impromptu ice skating in the mud, me lover.

Patchway Banana Bridge

This one is truly one of our faves. Its proper out of the way. I park on Blakeney Road in Patchway, walk through the woods cross over the motorway bridge then you come to a lovely long field and I circle back through the woods.

It has a really quiet and tranquille feeling, even though its right next to the motorway!

10/10 dog walk!

Badock's Wood

Badock's wood is a little more popular than the other recommendations but I still find it peaceful in the morning. There is a lovely stream running through the wood. A handy pathway and amazing wooden carvings throughout your walk! Keep your eyes peeled!

There is a field at the top of the woods if you fancy a bit of fetch. Plenty of street parking surrounding the woods.

High squirrel alert, if your pup likes to chase maybe keep them on lead in Badock's wood.
